Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word which means "Universal Life Force Energy." Rei is the essence of the source of life, and ki (or chi) is the energy or power that brings it to form.

Reiki can be used for everything. You can Reiki your food and water. Reiki your pets. Reiki your plants. Reiki your past and your future. Reiki your loved ones. Reiki your thoughts and deeds. Reiki is a healing, loving energy that will never harm you. It can only be used for good things. Reiki is a gentle energy that flows through everyone. Reiki has intelligence, compassion and love because it comes from the Divine Source. It always knows where it is needed most, all you have to do is intend it to heal.
